I have met some truly lovely people along the way whilst begging for sponsorship and prizes. Most of the communications have been via email, but it's funny how quickly you can you can build a report. I have had really kind thank you but no along with personal stories and the reasons for supporting other charities (which I completely understand), and only one response that you couldn't publish online! But only 1 aggressive individual out of many hundred shows how kind people are - particularly when responding to a big ask for money or donations! So thank you to everyone who took time just to respond to my letter. I fully appreciate that you get inundated with similar requests, which is why your acknowledgements and also your positive responses to my requests mean so very much.
